Working at our Head Office and factory, our Digital Print jobs in Southampton are based within the Graphics Department of our Production Team.

Boasting state of the art kit, our graphics room houses Durst Hybrid Printers for up to 3.5M roll and board printing. Kongsberg X24 Digital Cutting System and Summa 1600 Plotters. For finishing we also have Matic Kronos Automatic Sewing Systems, Neschen CL1650 Plus Laminator and Rolls Rollers.

In our Digital Print Operator jobs, you’ll work on the production of large format digital print for a variety of applications, substrates and products, including Point of Sale, Promotional Graphics, Retail Display and Vinyl. Responsibilities will include:

• Running and maintaining our digital printers, cutters and finishing equipment
  
• Producing large format graphics using various media, for different applications and final products for internal and external signage
  
• Cutting, Finishing and applying Vinyl
  
• Ensuring the quality of production and deadlines are met
  
• Artworking and setting up files

The digital print production manager’s job holds responsibility for all print production output. Experience as a digital print production manager, assistant manager or supervisor will be required.

From relatively humble beginnings they’ve grown to become a multi million pound turnover business, providing internal and external signage, interior cladding, and branding solutions, including large format graphics, digital print, bespoke wallpaper printed point of sale and other promotional branding, for clients throughout the UK and Europe. The role:

We are now looking to recruit an experienced large format graphics production manager to run all aspects of the graphics production department. As the digital print production manager you will be responsible for:

• Working alongside the signage production manager to co-ordinate production of the signage and graphics. Management of workflow and production scheduling for the digital print department
• Production planning, scheduling and coordinating appropriate resource, overtime etc as and when required.
• Motivation and management of staff.
• Ordering materials and stock control.
• Installation planning and management.

The role isn’t about reinventing the wheel, whilst process and efficiency improvements are always welcome; the role is to add an experienced production manager who can cope with the demands of their increased manufacture and who can help with their continued growth strategy.

You:

• This role will require you to be hands on and able to pitch in, not just manage the team from afar. You’ll be able to demonstrate:
• Experience of large format graphics / digital print production management, supervision or team leadership within a medium sized digital printer or sign manufacturer with large format print production capability.
• You will have good people management skills, able to get the best out of people using motivating techniques that suit the individual.
• Good communication skill, verbal and written.
• Can do attitude and able to think clearly during busy times.
