Initially using manufacturing supply chain partners, several years ago they opened their own fabrication and production facility, bringing subcontracted manufacturing in house. With significant investment, the factory has been kitted out with a variety of machinery including: CNC routers, brake press, guillotine, welding machines, wall saws and large format digital printers, giving in house capability to produce metal work, acrylic, manufacture built up letters and produce vinyl and digitally printed graphics.

Digital Print Operator jobs responsibilities:

This is an opportunity to join an expanding business and reap the rewards of further career development. Since the factory was set up a few years ago, it has doubled in size. As the business grows so will their graphics department and in the future it will require you to run the graphics department including developing and managing a team. Until then you’ll report to the Production Manager and be responsible for running the digital print and vinyl out put of the business. Responsibility will include:

• Production scheduling and management of production flow for vinyl and digital print.
• Operating digital printers and vinyl plotters.
• Manipulating client artwork files for production.
• Meeting client deadlines.

You:

To be considered for this digital print operators job you’ll be able to demonstrate the following:

• Hands on large format digital print and vinyl production experience required.
• Ability to work at a fast pace, and change print productions schedules, when required.
• Highly motivated, with a can do attitude, you’ll have the ability to focus during busy times delivering to tight deadlines.
• Effective communicator.
• Capability of developing into a more senior role.
• Experience of using an Arizona 350 printer, print factor RIP and Illustrator CS5 or above desirable.
• Flexible and willing to work overtime as and when required.
