Retail Design Jobs: An Account Management job / Project Management job with an international retail design agency. This retail design agency job opportunity is with a leading agency specialising in travel retail design and activation. Services include design, engineering and project management of turnkey retail interiors, fixtures and fittings. Working in Singapore, the world’s fastest growing regional market place, you’ll be responsible for account management and project management of a luxury drinks brand. This opportunity has great growth potential with the possibility of being fast tracked to an Account Director’s position, for the right individual.

The Company:

Our client is a global business with an envious portfolio of luxury brand clients. They specialise in the design and implementation of in-store marketing initiatives including turnkey retail environments, merchandising display fixtures and retail furniture.

The role:

In this account manager’s role you’ll be responsible for managing one of the most recognisable premium brands, managing their range of retail branding requirements across multiple sites in the APAC region. The position is predominately office based, although some travel is to be expected. Liaising with the client, you’ll be managing anything from printed point of sale changes through to full turnkey, retail store design, implementation and everything in between. This account has seen tremendous growth which is to continue, hence the need to recruit an Account Manager to support the Account Director.

The client head office is based in Europe, which requires you to be flexible in terms of working in a different time zone. This role will require some late starts and late finishes to your working day.

Responsibilities include:

  • Client liaison – Fronting up the account you will take client briefs and manage design proposals, submission and sign off of cost estimates, following up gain approval to ensure each project runs on time.
  • Management of client and internal teams.
  • Brief internal design and engineering teams on project specific requirements.
  • Project Manage each project – up to 80 at any given time, supported by internal project managers you will be responsible for keeping track of each stage, via the project management portal, ensuring the information is up to date in real time and the process is on track for implementation on time. (Projects range from a simple poster change through to full store build).
  • Travel – expect to travel possibly once every couple of months to different site locations in the APAC region.

 You:

  • Ideally you will already be based in Singapore, however if you wants to move there to further your career and gain experience within the region you will be considered. Please note however that relocation would be down to you.
  • You will be an ambitious Account Manager with some experience already gained in managing retail branding accounts.
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, co-ordinating clients and multi disciplinary internal teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Well organised, with good attention to detail.
  • An outgoing personality who thrives on developing good working relations.
  • Fluent in English is a necessity; working knowledge of French would be advantageous.
