Reporting to the Sales Director, this signage Business Development Manager job, has options for being based remotely, hybrid working, or being based on site, depending where you live. Responsibilities include: 

  • Working with the internal sales & marketing manager to support the research & development of prospects
  • Identifying key decision makers & influences of the buying process within target clients, e.g. brand owners, blue chip companies architects & designers
  • Developing client relationships that generate profitable new business revenue
  • Prospecting to clients that have been identified, including new & previous customers on the company’s CRM system
  • Following up & converting incoming inquires & leads generated by the internal sales & marketing department

Essential:

  • Proven experience of success working in a sign industry business development job role, selling multiple site signage solutions
  • Possess a dynamic, self-motivated & can do attitude
  • Understanding & ability to follow a strategic sales process, to win and maintain client relationships
  • Full UK driving license, willing & able to travel to client meetings throughout the UK
  • Right to work in the UK.

 

Beneficial but not essential:

  • Good understanding of working with supply chain partners, sub-contract manufacture’s, which may be required if the inhouse factory is at capacity, and needs overflow support.
