The title Production Manger, may be a little misleading. This position is with a leading brand implementation consultancy, and not a manufacturer. This production manager jobs responsibilities include assisting the design team, giving them input on materials, finishes and specifications as well as the selection and management of third party suppliers and contractors. You’ll be accountable for the technical management, supervision and control of the production and installation processes for a wide variety of wayfinding, signage and brand implementation projects, inline with the company’s methodology and standards.

As a brand implementation and visual identity management specialist, our client works direct with brands and in partnership with architects, creative design and  branding agencies. Responsible for translating brand identities into the built environment. They take concept designs and turning them in to practical solutions through production design, value engineering, advising on materials, finishes and specification. They then select and manage the supply chain partners and oversee the project implementation. With an envious portfolio of clients, from brands to architects and agencies, our client works on high profile, one off projects through to global brand roll outs. Managing the brand consistency, and quality of products and delivery.

The Production Manager jobs responsibilities, include:

Responsible for the technical management, supervision and control of production and installation processes for a variety of wayfinding, signage and brand implementation projects inline with the company’s methodology and standards. Key tasks include:

  • Provide input and advice on product specifications and fabrication techniques to facilitate design development.
  • Plan and organise production schedules and installation timings to ensure projects are delivered in accordance
    with agreed timescales.
  • Identify and communicate project risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety best practice standards and ensure zero incidents.
  • Manage and track financial performance of projects to achieve planned project profitability.
  • Establish and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Oversee and manage production, installation and remedial work processes.
  • Secure and manage the appropriate resources to ensure successful delivery within project constraints.
  • Provide regular updates to clients on the progress of projects.
  • Ensure projects are delivered right first time, every time.

  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience of Microsoft Project, Merlin or equivalent scheduling software.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based project management and collaboration tools
