We’re recruiting for an award winning architectural signage and wayfinding consultancy, specialising in the design and delivery of creative solutions for a broad spectrum of clients. Due to a record year, both in terms of growth and awards, they’re now looking to recruit an additional sales person to join their team. You will be supported by the marketing efforts of the company, with incoming enquires being distributed to the sale team, and you’ll have input into creating marketing campaigns to help you attract new enquires. You’ll also be provided with a number of warm clients as well as being expected to develop your own.

Responsibilities include:

With a solid team of designers and project managers to support you and your client wins, you’ll be responsible for building rapport with clients and developing sales opportunities. With a proven track record within core sectors, you will expected to target clients within established markets, as well as look for opportunities that fit the company strategy.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Generating sales: following up on incoming enquires / leads, generating your own clients from the CRM / Database and by researching and developing your own new business opportunities.
  • Meeting with clients to gain full understanding of their business and requirements
  • Gain approvals of both costs and manufacture from the client
  • Briefing Account Managers when handing over jobs
  • Maintain good communications with in-house departments and external contractors throughout the life of the project
  • Attend handover meetings with client and agree any additional works to be completed within the set timescales
  • First years target c£360K

You:

The opportunity to work remotely or from the London office is available, although you’ll be expected to have regular contact and visit the office at least once a week. You’ll also be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative
  • Good planning, organisational and time management skills
  • Be able to use in house CRM system to plan and monitor pipeline
  • Customer focussed – with the ability to create an easy rapport
  • Ability to research and create prospect base and sales pipeline
  • Ability to engage and negotiate at all levels
  • Plan and implements organised steps to achieve agreed goals
  • Experience in: Architectural signage, Wayfinding, Digital print, Vinyl and manifestation.
  • Experience of working with: Architects, Designers, Blue Chip, Education, Leisure and Service clients
