Overview:

Freelance Senior Wayfinding Designer urgently required, to form part of a team working on a prestigious mixed use commercial development in London. Demonstrable experience of signage and wayfinding design for top-end Hotel / Hospitality industry preferable. Working within signage and wayfinding design for other premium applications would be considered.

The project:

Joining a small and highly qualified team consisting of architectural, design and branding consultants, working on a forthcoming top end development. The project is a commercial, mixed use premium development, consisting of Boutique Hotel, Luxury Residential, Retail, Club Lounge, Gym and Parking which is due to start shortly. Estimated contract length six – nine months

Responsibilities include:

• Lead design on all signage and wayfinding
• Create concept drawings, corporate identity and sign family’s
• Production / manufacturing drawings
• Overseeing two other designers
• Materials, specifications and finishes
• Client and stakeholder management

You:

• Proven background in signage and wayfinding design
• Demonstrable experience of working on premium projects – ideally hotels / hospitality
• A portfolio of work to back up your design projects
• Typography
• Available to start asap and work for the duration of the project
