One of the company’s key business revenue streams is the property market. Providing a range of sign and print solutions to house builders and developers. The property division has a multi million pound turnover.  Solutions include: hoardings, promotional banners and building wraps through to full interior and exterior solutions for marketing suites. These include signage and digital print as well as marketing display and interactive kiosks.

Sales Manager jobs responsibilities include:

The sales manager jobs responsibilities will see you heading up the company’s Property Division with the aim of:

  1. Supporting overall business growth. Setting and achieving a stretch target for increasing revenue, profit and market share in the house building sector.
  2. Provide sales and customer leadership across the group. Ensuring the house building team have the support, skills, mindset and motivation to succeed.
  3. Deliver superior customer experience, and improved internal effectiveness, by delivering synergies between the new business and account manager teams.

Sales manager jobs duties include:

Revenue and profit growth.

  • Meet financial objectives by maximising order values and profitability, ensuring you achieve the revenue and profit targets for the group.
  • Measure and improve the way profit margins are managed across the house building team.

Customer life-cycle.

  • Take responsibility for improving customer interaction at all stages of their lifecycle, from initial contact through the entire sales process.
  • Ensure that existing customers are “mined” for new business and that customer retention is improved through after-sales communication.

Sales funnel conversion.

  • Utilising the existing CRM system, create a simplified Sales Funnel that gives accurate financial projections for the balance of year, whilst providing accurate monthly forecasts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely information is fed into the CRM system at all times and that the order process for each job is accurately captured by the team.

People management.

  • Exhibit leadership skills within the group appropriate for a direct report of the MD.
  • Take ownership of all aspects of people performance within the house building team, including recruitment and retention, coaching and mentoring, performance management and appraisals.

Account management.

  • Personally manage a small number of customers as agreed with the MD, ensuring that sales and profit targets are met and process and reporting standards are demonstrated to be the group’s gold standard.

Management control.

  • Control at high level all works carried out by the house building team, ensuring the team’s procedures sit within the workflow defined in the ISO9001 quality system.
  • Improve the group’s accuracy in quoting.

Value adding.

  • Raise the department and company reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

  • Sales and profit management, with a proven ability to identify sales opportunities, nurture prospects and deliver profitable sales results from new and existing customers.
  • Sales funnel management; able to build, maintain and improve a sales process that qualifies prospects and accurately forecasts current and future month sales to the business.
  • Strong organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise workload within your immediate team and to liaise with and coordinate teams across different internal and external functions.
  • Influencing skills, with strong oral and written communication capability.
  • Must be able to present simplified summaries of trends and figures to the board.
