In this Estimating job you’ll be responsible for compiling accurate costings to produce client quotes for the design and delivery of signage and graphics branding solutions. To be considered you’ll need to be able to read production drawings and have sound Excel skills.

About this Estimators job

In this Estimators job you’ll be responsible for creating estimates for the sales team to present to their clients to quote on their signage projects.

The Estimator jobs responsibilities

The Estimator jobs responsibilities will include:

• Working with the sales & operational teams, & supply-chain partners, to provide accurate & timely quotes
• Liaise with production to determine whether manufacturing should be done in-house or be sub-contracted
• Negotiating prices to obtain best quotes for materials & sub-contract services
• Create bill of materials & bill of operations, to produce sales estimates
• Maintain accurate price lists to increase efficiencies in the costing process

You

So, to be considered for this Estimator job you’ll need to be able to read production design drawing, have good knowledge of Excel, and have experience in a bespoke engineering, manufacture or a similar technical production environment.

In addition, you’ll also need the following

• To be willing & able to work from the office
• High levels of accuracy, attention to detail & display good written & numerical skills
• Excellent IT literacy, particularly strong Excel skills
• Be methodical, organized, process orientated & able to produce accurate work to meet deadlines
