As Operations Manager you’ll hold responsibility for overseeing a team of eleven project managers of various levels of experience, from senior project managers to more junior project administrators. Projects include large volume corporate identity roll outs, through to bespoke one offs. There is scope for the responsibilities of this position to grow, and for you to progress your career into a more senior role, overseeing other key operational departments in the future,

This operations manager jobs responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with other departmental heads and the Directors of the business.
  • Understanding of the sales pipeline and anticipating / planning projects resource accordingly.
  • Allocation / distribution of projects to the Project Managers / Projects Team.
  • Complete management of the Projects Team.
  • Overall responsibility of ensuring projects are delivered to client satisfaction and company standards.
  • Subcontractor / supplier management.
  • Recruitment.
  • Disciplinary.

You:

You’ll be able to demonstrate:

  • A proven track record in project managing volume signage projects.
  • Preferably but not essential, you will have experience of managing project managers or project administrators.
  • Self-motivation.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • Extremely well organised.
  • Good technical understanding.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Hands on and prepared to also get involved in day to day project management.
