Due their commitment for continuous development they are in the process of their next stage of expansion. This includes moving to new premises as well as adding improved skill sets to their team. As such they are now recruiting a creative 3d designer to enhance their current design team and creative output.

This is a new role for the company and is available due to their continuous development and commitment to enhance their services. You’ll be part of a design team consisting of graphic designers, capable of 3D visualisation. However to improve client drawings, they now want to add a creative 3D designer with SolidWorks experience.

As the creative 3d designer for our client, you’ll be responsible for taking the creative lead on all of the company’s 3D design output. Pushing the company’s ethos of creativity and innovation and driving it through the design team.

Working from client briefs, you’ll be responsible for the development of their briefs, creating exceptional conceptual design visuals. You’ll also play a major role in design development of complementary product family’s and bespoke one offs, as well as new product development.

The creative 3D designers job will also require you to produce accurate working drawings. These will be used for production and manufacture and will detail the construction of the product.

As well as 3d design you will also be required to create graphic 2d designs. These will be used for client information packs and presentations as well as other marketing activities such as brochures and digital marketing on web and social media. This will involve the interaction and coordination of third party agencies.

To be considered for this creative 3d design job you’ll be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

• Strong knowledge and ability of SolidWorks CAD package
• Sound ability with Adobe Suite or as a minimum the graphic design software
• Creative flair
• Experience of producing concept and working drawings for metal fabrication products
• Ideally experienced in branding, retail display, signage, interiors, exhibition design or similar
• Keen eye for detail
• Confident communicator with good written and verbal skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and work at a fast pace
• Keep upto date with the latest trends, software skills
• Prepared to go the extra mile when required.

Nice to have but not essential: 

• Knowledge of Revit / BIM
• Website design software
• Ability to create 3D walkthroughs
