This signage and wayfinding design jobs ideal person will be able to work from the studio, to collaborate with cross functional teams in the business. However, flexibility for a mix of studio based and home / remote working is also an option.

About this Signage & Wayfinding Design job

In this signage and wayfinding design job you’ll be working within the design studio, alongside a team of graphic designers and collaborating with other cross functional internal teams, and external supply chain partners, to design signage and wayfinding solutions for client projects.

Working on prestigious branding projects, covering a wide variety of clients including hotels, hospitality, workplace, high-end residential, education, health, corporate clients and leading brands, you’ll be designing signage, wayfinding and environmental graphics to apply to their branded spaces.

• Creating visuals for client presentations
• Artworking
• 3D Visualisations
• Technical signage design / production drawings
• Taking conceptual designs to create practical product design solutions across the full mix of signage types
• Maintaining brand consistency
• Liaising with external supply chain partners on design and specifications
• Collaborating with cross functional internal teams

You

To be considered for this signage and wayfinding design job, you will need to have experience of working in similar sign design jobs. Sound understanding of materials, specifications, signage construction and installation techniques, you will be able to draw on your knowledge, and experience to fulfil the responsibilities of this signage and wayfinding design jobs function.

You will also need to be able to demonstrate, as a minimum:

• At least 2 years experience in a technical signage design job role
• A portfolio showcasing your relevant design work
• Strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop etc)
• The ability to create technical working drawings / production drawings
• Ability to produce high quality design visuals
• Effective time management and the capability to meet strict design deadlines
• Ability to successfully manage multiple design projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail

Interesting but not essential:

knowledge and experience of using additional design software may be interesting but not essential, e.g.

• CAD
• Revit
• SolidWorks
• Sketchup etc
