This Junior Estimator jobs in Newbury. Based in our clients, Cobal, head office, as the Junior Estimator you’ll play an integral role in supporting the commercial success of the company. Working closely with the sales and operational teams, as well as supply-chain partners, you’ll be responsible for compiling accurate quotations for the design and delivery of signage, wayfinding and environmental branding solutions.

Servicing Blue Chip clients, and partnering the architectural, design and construction industries, Cobal provide bespoke products including architectural signage, wayfinding, environmental graphics, decorative finishes and furniture for branded environments, in the UK and throughout the EMEA.

About this Junior Estimators job

In this Junior Estimators job you’ll report to the Head of Operations and ultimately be responsible for the creation of sales estimates and client quotations that meet customer project requirements, support the sales team to convert new opportunities and aid the commercial success of the business.

The Junior Estimator jobs responsibilities

The Junior Estimator jobs responsibilities will include:

• Working with the sales & operational teams, & supply-chain partners, to provide accurate & timely quotes
• Liaise with production to determine whether manufacturing should be done in-house or sub-contracted
• Negotiating prices to obtain best quotes for materials & sub-contract services
• Create bill of materials & bill of operations, to produce sales estimates
• Maintain accurate price lists to increase efficiencies in the costing process

You

So, to be considered for this Junior Estimator job you’ll need experience of working in either a sign industry jobs that’s given you an understanding of sign manufacturing and installation techniques.

Alternatively, you could have experience in estimating for a similar technical, bespoke product / service.

In addition, you will also need the following

• Be willing and able to work in Cobal’s Newbury head office
• High levels of accuracy, attention to detail & display good written & numerical skills
• Excellent IT literacy, particularly strong Excel skills
• Be methodical, organized, process orientated & able to produce accurate work to meet deadlines
