This signage Estimator jobs in Newbury. Based in our clients, Cobal, head office, as the Estimator you’ll play an integral role in supporting the commercial success of the company. Working closely with the sales and operational teams, as well as supply-chain partners, you’ll be responsible for creating accurate quotations for the design and delivery of signage, wayfinding and environmental branding solutions.

About this Signage Estimators job

In this signage Estimators job you’ll report to the Head of Operations and ultimately be responsible for the creation of sales estimates and client quotations that meet customer project requirements, support the sales team to  convert new opportunities and aid the commercial success of the business.

The Signage Estimator jobs responsibilities

The signage Estimator jobs responsibilities will include:

• Working with the sales & operational teams, & supply-chain partners, to provide accurate & timely quotes
• Liaise with production to determine whether manufacturing should be done in-house or sub-contracted
• Negotiating prices to obtain best quotes for materials & sub-contract services
• Create bill of materials & bill of operations, to produce sales estimates
• Maintain accurate price lists to increase efficiencies in the costing process
• Coach & mentor junior estimators

You

So, to be considered for this signage Estimator job you’ll need experience of working in a sign industry estimating job, or similar role with responsibility for producing cost estimates, for example a signage project management job. 

In addition, you will also need the following

• Be willing and able to work in Cobal’s Newbury head office
• High levels of accuracy, attention to detail & display good written & numerical skills
• Excellent IT literacy, particularly strong Excel skills
• Be methodical, organized, process orientated & able to produce accurate work to meet deadlines
• Proven experience in producing signage estimates / job quotations
