About this Business Development Managers job

This Business Development Managers job is available due to the brand agency’s continued growth. Equally, due to the launch of new cutting edge technology, developed by the consultancy to enable their clients to achieve their brand vision, mission, objectives consistently and more efficiently.

Primarily based from home, this business development manager job will require you to attend both business and client meetings, in London and potentially else where. As a result, ideally you’ll be based in London or the Home Counties, and be willing and able to travel as and when required.

The Business Development Managers job responsibilities

Reporting to, and working in close collaboration with, the Managing Director, ultimately the Business Development Managers job responsibilities is to generate business growth for the brand consultancy.

In order to achieve this, you’ll also collaborate with your international colleagues and strategic network partners. As an example, your responsibilities will include:

  • Researching new business opportunities through online research, & other proactive sales & marketing techniques.
  • Gain strategic understanding of target clients, thier business structure, identifying & engaging with key decision makers & influencers.
  • Using multi-channel sales & marketing techniques, including phone, email, social media & networking, to raise awareness of the branding consultancy’s services, develop new clients & ultimately generate sales revenue.
  • Identify emerging markets & potential opportunities such as mergers & acquisitions, growing brands entering new regions & other potential branding / re-branding opportunities.
  • Updating customer information on the CRM system, maintaining detailed records of calls & meetings, & reporting regularly on developments.

 

You

To be considered for this branding Business Development job, you’ll possess the ability to proactively research new business opportunities, identify prospects within target organizations, and develop relationships with new and existing clients.

You’ll also need proven success working in a similar role for a branding, marketing or creative agency, and be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Computer literate, with excellent English written, verbal communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Highly attentive to detail, self-motivated, organized & results driven.
  • Comfortable presenting products or services over the phone & face to face.
  • Ability to work with multicultural, cross-functional clients & teams.
  • Ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Additional languages would be advantageous but are not essential.

Remuneration Package:

Basic Salary Range: £50,000 – £65,000 (Possible flexibility D.O.E.)
Commission / Bonuses: Based on success
