Interested in Event Management Jobs? We’re recruiting for a Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager job vacancy on behalf of a leading exhibition and live event contractor. Our client designs, builds and delivers exhibition and event solutions for leading brands and corporate clients. Experience in the exhibition and events industry would be ideal. However full training will be provided and career development available. Experience of managing events from a conference, hospitality, wedding coordination / planning or similar will be considered.

Our client has a global presence. As one of Europe’s leading Events and Exhibition companies they design, build and deliver exhibition and live event solutions all over the world. Working with corporate clients and leading brands, they design modular and bespoke systems. Their stands and displays are used for simple one offs, or can be stored and used multiple times, for exhibitions in different domestic and international locations.

This event management jobs responsibilities include:

  • Receive finalised exhibition stand briefs from the sales team.
  • Process and monitor finalised and approved exhibition stand projects.
  • Collate project information and prepare on-site job folders using the company’s CRM management system.
  • Instruct the production department with graphic brief details.
  • Order exhibition stand parts and graphic elements using supplier’s NAV system.
  • Prepare and provide graphic panel layouts to clients.
  • Liaise with clients to re-confirm artwork deadlines.
  • Prepare electrical and carpet plans.
  • Order third party services.
  • Liaise with exhibition organisers, providing H&S documents and obtaining stand design approval.
  • Work with internal departments to ensure the job is produced on time and handed over to the exhibition services team.
  • Monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle so they adhere to budget.
  • Carry out onsite visits to oversee stand installation and client handover.

You:

  • Project management and or experience in the exhibition / events industry.
  • Excellent IT skills using Word, Acrobat and Excel etc.
  • Highly organised with excellent administration.
  • An effective communicator at all levels.
  • Able to multi-task and organise several projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy very important.
  • Personable with excellent client relationship building skills.
  • A good team player.
