Sign Design Jobs: This technical sign design jobs responsibilities are creating manufacturing / production drawings in CAD or 3D visuals. Sound understanding of signage construction will be required in order to produce the accurate production drawings to be used for sign manufacture. The vacancy is with with a well established UK sign company.

They have forged lasting relationships with their clients which include architects, designers and direct to brands, servicing their branding requirements across a range of market sectors from retail to corporate signage

The role:

Responsible for:

• The creation of production ready 3D technical drawings for signage construction, to demonstrate how the various sign families would be manufactured.
• 3D visualisation and rendering.
• Design of sign families, taking logo / branding and developing across all different types of signage from totem signs to directory signs.
• Some graphic design may also be required, but primarily this design role is for production, and will be part of the production team rather than the graphics team.

You:

• You will have sound technical knowledge of signage and production techniques  and able to create 3D design visuals  that are practical to engineer / manufacture, illustrating how the sign will be built.
• Knowledge of design packages, including ability to create 3D renderings and visualisations is essential – whilst the company tend to use CAD, other software packages for 3D visuals would be acceptable.
