Overview:
Freelance Signage and Wayfinding Project Manager urgently required, to form part of a team working on a prestigious mixed use commercial development in London. Demonstrable experience of managing complex signage and wayfinding projects is essential as is the ability to be engaged for nine months. The possibility of returning to the project, post design and planning, phase, to mange the signage implementation is likely.
The project:
Joining a small and highly qualified team consisting of architectural, design and branding consultants, working on a forthcoming top end development of a grade 2 listed building. The project is a commercial, mixed use premium development, consisting of Boutique Hotel, Luxury Residential, Retail, Club Lounge, Gym and Parking which is due to start shortly. Estimated contract length six – nine months
Responsibilities include:
The early phases of the project are the creative elements of the design, identity and signage strategy. you’ll be responsible for:
- Ensuring all elements of the project run on time
- Assisting the design team gather necessary information and documents
- Acquiring guidelines from Council and Historic England
- Planning applications
- Client and stakeholder management
The mid – latter phases of the project will involve:
- Tender evaluation
- Supplier selection and management
- Ensuring specifications are adhered too
- Overseeing installation through to snagging and sign off
- Management of supply chain and subcontractors
You:
- Proven background in signage and wayfinding project management
- Demonstrable experience of working on complex wayfinding projects
- Available to start quickly and work for the duration of the project
