With offices in the UK, Mainland Europe, Asia and Pacific region, they provide local market, and global brand implementation and management services, to leading global brands, retailers and operators. The agencies design and activation services range from in-store marketing campaigns, digital installations, through to complete turnkey store and shop in shop design and build projects.
Internal Project Manager jobs responsibilities:
The Internal Project Manager jobs responsibilities, in the first place, is to manage all details of clients’ projects. In addition driving engagement of all stakeholders to continuously deliver on time, on budget, on quality and on brand expectations.
Therefore as the Internal Project Manager, your duties will include:
- Reporting to the Regional Manager, and working closely with the agencies Client Project Managers, to support travel retail implementations and concept development activities within the EMEA region.
- Owning and managing projects from the initial stage to completion, working to the corporate / brand guidelines.
- Coordinating and monitoring all design and construction activities involved with the brand activations and permanent fixtures improvement works.
- Reviewing design proposals against department requirements to ensure compliance.
- Communicating with project stakeholders regarding scheduling, material finishes, specification, cost and all project-related matters.
- Inspecting, monitoring and tracking project documentation, including drawings, specifications, prototypes and samples etc.
- Working closely with the location Visual Merchandising team, other internal departments and external suppliers to ensure the quality of projects.
- Monitoring budgets and submitting periodical cost reports to management.
- Establishing and implementing region-wide maintenance programs and liaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure agreed deliverables are met.
- Assisting the Regional Manager to establish / monitor in-house procedures and protocols, and carry out data / information analysis as required.
- Providing project guidance and mentorship to junior team members regarding project management best practices.
About you
To be considered for this internal project managers job you will need experience in managing retail store and brand activation projects. Your experience could come from a retail design agency or from a retail interiors fit-out contractor. Additionally for this retail design agency job,you’ll also need to have:
- Previous multi-skilled project management experience and show drive, passion and self-motivation.
- Experience managing small design / project management teams, being a key asset.
- Be proficient in CAD and Microsoft Office, and be able to produce various forms of reports.
- Show ability to self-manage, self-motivate and multitask to meet required deadlines.
- Demonstrate you’re a strong problem solver with a flexible mind and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Be willing to travel regionally throughout the EMEA, possible on a weekly basis.
- Be well presented with a high degree of professionalism
- Have a passion for retail and travel
- Enjoy working as part of a team
Nice to have
- Experience in the Travel Retail environment is highly desirable.
- Fluent in English is essential, additional languages, in particular French, would be beneficial.
