Responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the Project Management and on-site Field Services teams, providing leadership, and improving processes, efficiencies and productivity. You’ll need experience in Production Management and/or Project Management in light manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related field.

This sign industry Operations Manager is based at the Nottingham head office and factory.

Inshort, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the Project Management and on-site Field Services teams, providing leadership and improving processes to increase efficiency and productivity.

Experience in Production Management and/or Project Management in light manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related field is required.

Key responsibilities of this Operations Manager job

The key responsibilities of this Operations Manager job include the following core areas:

Operations Management:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the project management and on-site Field Services teams
  • Develop & implement operational policies, & procedures, to improve efficiency & productivity
  • Monitor & manage project workflows, to ensure timely completion

Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, & support the project management, & on-site Field Services, teams
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, & provide ongoing training & development
  • Foster a collaborative, & positive team environment

Project Management:
  • Supervise the Project Management team to ensure all projects are planned, executed, & delivered to clients satisfaction
  • Review project plans, schedules, & budgets
  • Ensure clear communication with clients regarding project status, changes, & any issues that arise

Field Services Oversight:
  • Working with the Field Services Manager, to coordinate & oversee on-site Field Services, ensuring quality standards & client specifications are met
  • Manage field service schedules & logistics to optimise efficiency & minimise disruptions
  • Resolve any on-site issues, or challenges, promptly & effectively

Quality Control:
  • Implement & maintain quality control processes, ensuring high standards are met across all projects
  • Conduct regular inspections & audits of field services, ensuring compliance with company standards & client requirements

Resource Management:
  • Manage resources, including staff, materials, & equipment, to maximise productivity & minimise costs

Health & Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations within the workplace, & on field service sites
  • Work with the HSE Manager, conduct regular safety training & audits to promote a safe working environment

 

You

To be considered for this Operations Manager job you’ll need experience in Production Management and/or Project Management in light manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related field. You’ll also need:
