The first, is due to a sustained increase in sales enquiries and quotes. The second is due to succession planning for the pending retirement of their lead Estimator.

This sign industry Estimator job responsibilities

The core duties of this sign industry Estimator job is to manage the estimating process for specific signage projects, adhering to cost, quality and specifications. Responsibilities will include:

• Work closely with the sales team, designers, & project managers
• Determine the resources needed for projects, including labour, materials, equipment, & other expenses
• Ensure budgets align with the projects scope, specification & requirements
• Develop & maintain up to date knowledge of materials & sourcing concepts
• Maintain a professional approach in all supplier relationships, adhering to company guidelines & purchasing policies

So, to be considered for this signage Estimating job you’ll need either signage or light manufacturing Estimating experience as well as:

• The ability to combine technical expertise with effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Sound understanding of reading technical CAD drawings
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Strong multi-tasking skills, & the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office – particularly Excel & Word
• Self motivated, driven & able to set personal targets
• Full UK driving licence
• Right to work in the UK
